UpThemes, Redesigned & Refocused

We recently went live with some updates and changes to UpThemes.com, as well as a brand new members area that makes life easier for affiliates and members. I wanted to share some of the changes and improvements here.

New Standard Theme Club Membership for just $39/year

We have released a new theme club option that excites even the casual WordPress fan. Now you can access all our themes with support for just $39/year! For most people, this is a no-brainer. Make sure to check out our theme club membership options.

Individual Theme Sales Through Third-Party Marketplaces

We have worked out partnerships with MOJO Themes and WP App Store to be able to offer individual themes through those third-party marketplaces.

A Streamlined Checkout Process & a New Website!

We’ve introduced a new membership panel as well as a brand new checkout process, making it easy to purchase or download products through our website. We wanted to be able to effectively track user conversions and allow people to check out securely through our own website. Affiliate sales should greatly increase with this subtle but important change.

In addition, we completely redesigned UpThemes.com to make it easier to see theme and plugin features, as well as showcase the new club membership options effectively. The new design is aimed toward increasing sales for our affiliates and being much more direct with our theme features and other information.

All Free Plugins Now Available at WordPress.org

If you previously downloaded a plugin from us, your downloads are still available through your member dashboard. Moving forward though, all free plugins link directly to the plugin pages on WordPress.org. That means you don’t need to create an account with us just to download a simple plugin. Yay!

All in all, we feel that the new site is a step in a better direction with a focus on building a community of passionate WordPress theme lovers. Our goal now is to focus on bringing you new, awesome WordPress themes at a healthy pace, without sacrificing code quality and our own standard for great design. Anyway, we hope you like the new UpThemes and we’re looking forward to seeing you in the community forums very soon.
