The UpThemes Framework is now on Github!

For all you developers out there that need a better theme options panel, you just got one. We decided it would be totally awesome to develop the theme options framework for our themes in collaboration with other WordPress theme developers. As it has always been, the UpThemes Framework is 100% GPL-licensed in the same flavor as WordPress itself. However, now you can easily follow development and contribute your own code to the project. Our ultimate goal is to build a theme options panel that is used by millions for its simplicity, extensibility, security, and ease of use and we hope you see the value in that just as much as we do.

To access the project, simply visit the public Github project for the UpThemes Framework and enjoy!

I try it on localhost (wamp), but it displays plenty of errors (with WP_DEBUG=true …). It’s normal ? I am running WP 3.1.

    But, thx it look’s nice.

Hey guys thanks! This is amazing! I’ve been developing WordPress themes for about 8 months now and using an options panel that I basically hacked together by looking at various tutorials and other themes, but yours has a lot of great features, some of which I haven’t been able to figure out on my own. I look forward to studying the code. Thanks for sharing!
